
Hamloula Namoos was crowned the winner of the first weanling race on the second day of the second round of the Al Ain Camel Racing Festival.
The excitement continued on the second day of the second round of the Al Ain Camel Festival, with 20 races held on the morning of Saturday, August 2, at Al Rawdah Racecourse in Al Ain. The races were widely attended by camel owners from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and a large audience that enthusiastically participated in all the races. Champion “Hamlula,” owned by Salem Hamad Al Farsi, opened the first round with a thrilling victory, covering the 1,500 meters in a time of 1:58:60. “Al Rahawi,” owned by Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi, also took first place in the second round with a time of 2:00:04. “Nujoud,” owned by Abdullah Qassab Al Ameri, won first place in the third round with a time of 1:58:71. “Shaheen,” owned by Awad Ali Al Balushi, excelled in the fourth round with a time of 1:58:60. “Al Ghazal,” owned by Majed Saleh Ahmed Hassan, won the fifth round with a time of 2:00:09. “Shoheen,” owned by Abdullah Saleh Al Harsosi, also shone, winning first place in the sixth round with a best time of 1:57:83. “Khabir,” owned by Mohammed Hadi Al Shahwani, won first place in the seventh round after reaching the finish line with a time of 1:59:54. “Rebal”, owned by Muslim Mohammed bin Jadad, won the eighth round with a time of 1:59:76 minutes. “Hazar”, owned by Sultan Zayed Al Jahafi, took first place in the ninth round with a time of 1:59:64 minutes. The tenth round went to “Daif”, owned by Khalifa Maktoum Al Mazrouei, who finished first with a time of 2:00:70 minutes.
