Al Deeba achieves the double the first race winner and best time for  Al Thanaya category 

The Al Rawda Camel Racecourse in Al Ain witnessed fierce competition during the Thanaya age category races earlier today Saturday August 9.

  Al Ain Camel Racing Festival 2025, organized by the Presidential Affairs Center and supervised by the Emirates Camel Racing Federation, and this preliminary 2nd round will be concluded tomorrow Sunday. 

The Thanaya category competitions held over 20 races, covering a distance of 4 km, with the participation of a large number of camels from the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

“Al-Dheeba,” owned by Ali Salem bin Sandiya Al Mansouri, captured the attention by winning the first race and achieving the best time for the Thanaya age category in a time of 6:08:66 minutes. 

“Al-Sharid,” owned by Mohammed Matar bin Yamea Al Sabousi, finished the second race in 6:13:80 minutes. In the third round, “Raw’a”, owned by Sultan Mohammed Huwaishel Al Shamsi, in 6:13:03 minutes. The fourth round saw the win of  “Hosha”, owned by Mohammed Salmeen Mubarak Al Ameri with a time of 6:17:55 minutes.

“Al Shababi”, owned by Thiab Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, excelled in the fifth round, completing the distance in 6:18:63 minutes. “Elan”, owned by Hamad Mohammed Suhail Al Ameri,  in the sixth round in 6:17:81 minutes.

“Shawaheen”, owned by Salem Mohammed Al Sharqi Al Afari, won the seventh round with a time of 6:17:54 minutes, while “Shaheen”, owned by Butti Abdullah Saeed Al Jadili, won the eighth round with a time of 6:18:88 minutes. The ninth round was won by “Raoud” owned by Saeed Salem Suwaid Al-Mishqari, with a time of 6:19:40 minutes. In the tenth round, “Jawaher” owned by Khalid Ali Humaid Al Shamsi excelled with a time of 6:14:55 minutes. The results of the remaining rounds were as follows: the eleventh round was won by “Al-Dheeb” owned by Abdullah Khamis Omar Al Shamsi; the second round was won by “Khaskhasah” owned by Mohammed Atiq Al Maqoodi Al Falasi; the thirteenth round was won by “Dhan” owned by Saeed Daif Saif Al Shamsi; the fourteenth round was won by “Mubasher” owned by Barghash Tabazah Al Dodah Al Ameri; the fifteenth round was won by “Al Kaida” owned by Saeed Ghadir Obaid Al Ketbi; the sixteenth round was won by “Mukhtamar” owned by Saeed Mohammed bin Tuwaim; the seventeenth round was won by “Joud” owned by Al Ghafiq Al Sagheer Abdullah Al Malki; the eighteenth round was won by “Jazeel” owned by Muslim Mubarak Baloud Al Ameri; the nineteenth round was won by “Waad” owned by Hamed Mohammed Bal Rakad Al Ameri; and the twentieth round was won by “Mayas” owned by Mubarak Khalifa Dhabib Al Shamsi.
