Al Wariyah wins the first race setting the best time in 20 races Al Hawal and Zumoul category

“Al Wariyah” achieved the best time in the Al Hawal and Zumoul category races yesterday, Sunday, in the final day of the second preliminary round of Al Ain Camel Racing Festival, held over the previous 10 days of August at Al Rawdah Racecourse in Al Ain.


“Al Wariyah,” owned by Mohammed Matar Omeira Al Shamsi, excelled by winning the first round for over a distance of 4 km, setting the best time in all 20 races with 06:18:43 minutes in the second preliminary round, it achieved the best time in the first preliminary round last July.
The second preliminary round of the festival concluded yesterday, Sunday, with 20 races for purebred camels and camels from the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The third round will be held in coming September from 12 – 21, while the finals will be held from October 4 to 10, 2025.
“Ghasb,” owned by Mohammed Daif Ghadir Al Ketbi, won the second round with a time of 6:19:07 minutes. “Al Ghazal,” owned by Hadef Hareb Mugheer Al Khaili, won the third round with a time of 6:27:27 minutes. “Malameh,” owned by Hamad Saif Naif Al Ameri, took first place in the fourth round with a time of 6:24:79 minutes. In the fifth round, “Mudallal”, owned by Al Douda Bin Kardous Al Ameri, claimed first place, finishing in 6:30:92 minutes. The sixth round saw “Samha”, owned by Ayed Rafaan Al Qahtani, win the title with a time of 6:33:14 minutes. The seventh round went to “Shawaheen”, owned by Salem Jaber Al Marri, with a time of 6:26:43 minutes. Saeed Khalfan Hamad’s “Madhel” won the eighth round, designated for the Zumoul , with a time of 6:30:15 minutes. The ninth round won by “Lawazi”, owned by Ali Mohammed Hilal, with a time of 6:22:59 minutes. Ahmed Salem Al Ameri’s “Shuaa” won the tenth round with a time of 6:30:05 minutes.
The results of the remaining rounds from 11 to 20 resulted in the victory of : “Musayter” owned by Saeed Matar Al Ameri, “Elaj” owned by Mubarak Mohammed Al Shamsi, “Haflah” owned by Mubarak Khalifa Al Shamsi, “Mublash” owned by Faris Saeed Al Khatri, “Dalma” owned by Mubarak Daghash Al Ameri, “Al Shamikh” owned by Abdullah bin Mahiroum Al Mahrami, “Tashreef” owned by Ali Salem Al Wahaibi, “Ghazi” owned by Saeed Ghadir Obaid Al Ketbi, “Zahiya” owned by Nasser Hamad Suhail Al Khaili, and “Ghazi” owned by Hamad Rashid Al Ghafli.
