Hassan Abdulrahman – Al Ain

The third round of the Al Ain Camel Racing Festival kicked off yesterday morning, Friday, at Al Rawdha Racecourse, with the Haqaeq competition for tribe members. The first day featured 15 2-km races at Al Rawdha Racecourse.
The festival, in its first edition, is organized by the Racing and Presidential Camel Affairs Center, under the supervision of the Emirates Camel Racing Federation. “Al Tayyara,” owned by Abdullah Khalfan Humaid Al Nuaimi, shone, winning the first round for full-grown fillies after completing the race in 2:47:96 minutes (the best time). “Mashkoor,” owned by Saleh Khamis Hamad Al Butini, won the second round for full-grown fillies, reaching the finish line in 2:50:27 minutes. “Takreem,” owned by Hamad Salloum Hamad Al Junaibi, topped the third round with a time of 2:49:42 minutes. “Nafeed,” owned by Ahmed Hamad Mubarak Al Shamsi, delivered a distinguished performance and snatched the fourth round with a time of 2:47:96 minutes. “Al Tayyara,” owned by Saif Sultan Yarawan Al Shamsi, dominated the fifth round, reaching the finish line in 2:49:54 minutes. Rounds six through ten saw wins for “Al Shaheen,” owned by Hamad Muslim Salem Al Jahhafi, and “Haflan,” owned by Salem Tahmeema Matar Al Ameri, “Al Tamas” for Saeed Salem Hamad Al Junaibi, “Al Shaheeniya” for Hamad Humaid Mansour Al Darei, and “Al Faris” for Ahmed Khalifa Amer Al Habsi. In the eleventh to fifteenth rounds, the victories were won by: “Reemas” for Salem Ali Salem Al Juhafi, “Al Dhaby” for Juma Khalfan Mohammed Al Shamsi, “Baroud” for Abdullah Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, “Jamra” for Abdullah Mohammed Hamad Al Wahaibi, and “Al Mishhar” for Mohammed Ali Saeed Al Saifi.
