The Thanaya competitions continued yesterday, Friday, for the second consecutive day and the eighth day of the third preliminary round of Al Ain Camel Racing Festival 2025. The festival is held at Al Rawda Racecourse in Al Ain, with large participation and outstanding performances. The audience enjoyed fiery rounds and the collective brilliance of the camels. The first round was marked by the impressive presence of the camel “Al Hadhra”, owned by Ahmed Ali bin Mohammed Bin Nawas Al Ketbi, which took first place in the first round after reaching the finish line in 7:52:40 mins. (the best time). “Al Muheet”, owned by Mubarak Hamad bin Mohsen Al Falahi, won the 2nd round in 7:55:87 mins , while “Raw’a”, owned by Ahmed Sultan Al Rashid Al Suwaidi, won the third round in 7:56:58 minutes, and “Al Shamkha”, owned by Saif Suhail Saif bin Kaltham Al Khaili, won the 4th round in 7:57:12 mins.
As for round 5 to 10 , the results as follows : the camel “Al Wari”, owned by Ahmed Sultan bin Rashid Al Suwaidi, won the 5th round with 7:58:45 mins . And “Nujoud”, owned by Salem Faris bin Hamad Al Shamsi, won 6th round, as for “Masrah”, owned by Eid Rashid Saeed bin Asyan Al Mansouri, won the 7th round in 7:54:80 mins , and “Shaheen”, owned by Maher Saeed Salem bin Raghash Al Shamsi, won the 8th round in 7:55:35 minutes, “Al Ghazal”, owned by the same last owner, won the 9th round in 7:56:78 mins. And “Al Wadh”, owned by Mubarak Amhi bin Humaid Al Mansouri, won the final round in 7:59:75 mins.
