Hassan Abdulrahman – Al Ain
The Thanaya category competitions, as part of the Al Ain 2025 Camel Racing Festival, kicked off yesterday morning, Thursday, at Al Rawda Racecourse. The results were strong and exciting over the course of 10 rounds, over 5 km.
“Siouf,” owned by Amer Abdullah bin Muhairom Al Muhrami, took the lead in the first round with a time of 7:54:78 minutes.
In the second round, “Al Shamiti,” owned by Salem Awaidha bin Suhail Al Khaili, won after recording the best time of 7:51:09 minutes.
“Hadour,” owned by Obaid Ahmed bin Hamad Al Dhaheri, clinched victory in the third round, completing the distance in 8:03:04 minutes.
In the fourth round, “Al Dheeba,” owned by Salim Hamad Al Saloumi Al Darei, won first place with a time of 8:04:29 minutes
In the fifth round, “Kafu”, owned by Mubarak Awad Balkila Al Ameri, won with a time of 7:53:02 minutes.
In the sixth round, “Khayal”, owned by Saeed Shatit Saeed Mohammed Al Ketbi, won with a time of 8:01:93 minutes. In the seventh round, “Nawara”, owned by Kurdous Mohammed Salem Al Ameri, took the lead with a time of 8:00:53 minutes.
In the eighth round, “Kafu”, owned by Sultan Nasser Al Qassili Al Mansouri, won with a time of 8:00:00 minutes.
“Halfa”, owned by Saeed Khalfan Hamad Al Hafri, took the lead in the ninth round with a time of 7:57:23 minutes. The tenth round concluded with “Muhaddis”, owned by Saeed Khalfan Hamad Al Hafri, winning with a time of 7:58:89 minutes.
