The ninth day of the Al Ain Camel Racing Festival continued today Saturday morning, with the third preliminary competitions for the group camels and Al Hawal & Zumoul camels for 5 kilometers distance. The race took place at Al Rawda Racecourse and witnessed both distinguished attendance and strong competitions between the camels. The results were as follows:
In the first round, “Muta’bah,” owned by Saeed Matar Hamad Anouda Al Ameri, won, completing the distance in 8:00:59 mins. In the second round, “Al Sharad,” owned by Mohammed Matar Obaid bin Yamba’ Al Sabousi, won in 7:59:18 mins.
In 3rd round, “Shawaheen,” owned by Maktoum Saad Bakhit Al Mahri, led the race by scoring 8:04:13 mins.
In 4th round, “Hosha,” owned by Mohammed Salmeen Mubarak Al Ameri, clinched the race after taking first place in 8:01:92 mins.
In 5th round, “Adeem,” owned by Sultan Mohammed Fadel Al Hamli, clinched the first place in 8:00:60 mins.
In the 6th round, “Tihama,” owned by Mohammed Ali Saeed Al Jahafi reached the finish line in 8:09:92 mins.
In 7th round, “Wadaa,” owned by Mufi Awaida Mohammed Hassan Al Karbi, won in time of 8:07:94 mins. And “Al Dheeb,” owned by Abdullah Khamis Mohammed Al Shamsi, won the 8th round in 8:04:34 mins.
The 9th round went to “Zahiya,” owned by Nasser Hamad Suhail Awaida Al Khaili, who took first place in 8:07:04 mins.
The competition concluded with the 10th round with a bright win for “Al Jamah,” owned by Salim Suhail Al Ameri finishing the race in 8:19:12 minutes.
