His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, attended the “Laqaya” category race, held at Al Rawdah Racecourse in Al Ain over a distance of 4 km. This was part of the 3rd day of the finals of the 2025 Al Ain Camel Racing Festival.

The excitement and enthusiasm continued in the third day of the 4th and final round of the 2025 first edition ever of Al Ain Camel Racing Festival at Al Rawdah Racecourse. The first edition of the festival was held over three preliminary rounds, extending from July to September, followed by the fourth final round, which is currently underway. The qualifiers from the previous three rounds compete for the titles of the various camel categories.
On Monday morning, the 4km Al Laqaya competitions were held, over 22 rounds. “Samha”, owned by Mohammed Rashid bin Asyan Al Mansouri, won the first round, designated for young camels, with a time of 5:59:08 mins . “Al Wariyah”, owned by Mubarak Rashid bin Mohammed Al Aawi, won the second round with a time of 5:59:37 minutes. “Muhaidh”, owned by Saeed Salem bin Hamad Al Mansouri, won the third round, designated for young camels, with a time of 5:56:58 minutes. The fourth round went to “Al Saermi”, owned by Mohammed Suhail bin Salem Al Khaili, after reaching first place in 5:54:33 minutes (the best time). “Samha”, owned by Badr Ali bin Hamoud Al Owaisi, won the fifth round with a time of 6:01:39 minutes. “Ghazr”, owned by Obaid Musabah Obaid bin Youlk Al Ketbi, won the sixth round with a time of 6:02:37 minutes.
First place in the seventh round went to “Al Shamimi” owned by Mohammed Saif bin Suhail bin Kaltham Al Khaili. “Mukhlab” owned by Abdullah Ali bin Shatit Al Wahaibi won first place in the eighth round. “Afaal” owned by Saleh Hamad Saeed bin Ghasna Al Ameri shone in the ninth round to win the prize. “Hawail” owned by Nasser Miftah bin Ali Obaid Al Khatri topped the tenth round and claimed first place. The results of the rounds from the eleventh to the twenty-second resulted in the victory of: “Khataf” for Rashid Hamad bin Omaira Al Shamsi, “Shaheen” for Salem Kasab bin Khalifa Al Masafri, “Mawari” for Hamad Mohammed Suhail bin Awidan Al Ameri, “Dana” for Saif Muftah bin Ali Obaid Al Khatri, “Hayad” for Musabah Abdullah Musabah Ra’i Al Tayra Al Ameri, “Lahab” for Salem Mubarak bin Za’iter Al Ameri, “Mudhyar” for Al Dahba Qanazel bin Hamrour Al Ameri, “Al Yadhaba” for Saeed Muzaffar bin Mohammed Al Ameri, “Al Reem” for Masoud Mohammed bin Musabah Hamoud Al Ketbi, “Marmuqa” for Sultan Al Ra’i Al Nakheera Al Shamsi, “Reema” for Saeed Hamad bin Musleh Jamhour Al Ahbabi, and “Shoda” for Sultan Al Ra’i Al Nakheera Al Shamsi.
