The UAE Camel Racing Federation announced that it will host the Asian Camel Training Forum to qualify 27 participants, both male and female, aged 15 to 18. A placement test will be conducted under the supervision of the Asian Camel Racing Federation.

The Federation emphasized the importance of the forum in preparing for the camel competitions at the Bahrain 2025 Asian Games, scheduled for October 27.

The training activities will begin on October 10 and continue until the final exam on October 22, under the supervision of Mohammed Abdullah bin Aadid Al Muhairi, Director of the Forum.

His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, President of the Asian Camel Racing Federation, emphasized that the forum is part of the Federation’s strategy to develop the skills of camel riders in Asia by applying the best international practices in training and qualification, with the participation of a select group of specialized trainers from the UAE Camel Racing Federation.

He explained that hosting this event in Abu Dhabi embodies the UAE’s pioneering role in developing camel racing, praising the significant support of His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE and Chairman of the UAE Camel Racing Federation, and his continued commitment to empowering young Asian talent.
