

Yesterday, Sunday, the third Al Dhafra Festival for Purebred Arabian Camel Racing concluded. The festival, held over the past four days and organized by the Emirates Camel Racing Federation, concluded with the broadcast competitions for the full-bred camel race category, which spanned eight rounds over a distance of 5 km. The camels competed for eight categories.
“Al-Dhiba,” owned by Obaid Ali Al-Senari, won the broadcast cup in the open full-bred camel race, recording the best broadcast time of 7:21:99 minutes.
“Siyaf,” owned by Mubarak Mohammed Qatami Al Suwaidi, won the second broadcasting title after winning the open Al Qadan rifle in the second round with a time of 7:22:78 minutes.
“Sarabah,” owned by Humaid Saeed Amer Al Neyadi, soared to the top of the local fillies category and won the cup after completing the round in 7:26:29 minutes.
“Wahaj,” owned by Ahmed Sultan Balrasheed Al Suwaidi, won the local Al Qadan Shaddad race in the fourth round with a time of 7:32:01 minutes.
In the production category, “Al Wathba,” owned by Saeed Sultan Al Ketbi, won the local fillies cup in the fifth round, completing the round in 7:27:70 minutes.
Mohammed Sultan Markhan Al Ketbi’s logo shone, winning two consecutive symbols on the final day. “Al Saree’a Bandika Al Qaedan Local Production” snatched the title in the sixth round of the competition, while “Atheer” snatched the Abkar Cup in the Purebred Arabian Production round.
The eighth and final round saw “Al Jazeeb”, owned by Mohammed Abdullah Al Shamsi, win the Purebred Arabian Production round.
The symbol winners received valuable cash prizes of AED 500,000 for the Purebred Arabian rounds and AED 400,000 for the Purebred Arabian rounds.
The morning session saw 18 rounds in the broadcast category, over a distance of 5 km. “Ghanima”, owned by His Excellency Humaid bin Saeed Amer Al Neyadi, won the Abkar Cup in the first round, completing the race in 7:42:14 minutes. In the second round, designated for Purebred Arabians, “Crazy”, owned by Ahmed Ali bin Amer Al Faheeda Al Marri, won the title with a time of 7:33:37 minutes. The third round For the local purebred Arabian horses, “Haddad”, owned by Ahmed Al-Abd bin Saeed Salem Al-Wahaibi, won the fourth round for purebred Arabian horses with a time of 7:41:78 minutes. “Salas”, owned by Manea Ali bin Hammad Al-Shamsi, won the best time in the fourth round for purebred Arabian horses with a time of 7:31:38 minutes.
The fifth through tenth rounds resulted in the victory of “Al-Azoum”, owned by His Excellency Humaid bin Saeed Amer Al-Neyadi, in the fifth round with a time of 7:39:99 minutes. “Al-Shamekha”, owned by Saif Mohammed bin Asyan Al-Mansouri, won the sixth round with a time of 7:35:84 minutes. “Al-Nahda”, owned by His Excellency Humaid bin Saeed Amer Al-Neyadi, won the seventh round with a time of 7:42:29 minutes.
The eighth round saw “Faz’a”, owned by Salem Thaloub bin Salem Al-Durai, take first place with a time of 7:36:46 minutes. “Zizoum”, owned by Mubarak Suhail Al-Yabhouni Al-Dhaheri, won the ninth round. With a time of 7:36:46 minutes, “Latam”, owned by Obaid Ali Obaid bin Rashid Al Senari, won the tenth round in 7:33:33 minutes.
The results of the eleventh to sixteenth rounds were as follows: “Haqwa” won for Fahid bin Saleh Al Fahidah Al Marri, “Maghta” for Ahmed Mattar bin Majid Taresh Al Khaili, “Milan” for Abdulaziz Saif Ali Suwailem Al Ketbi, “Tawfan” for Khalifa Hamel bin Khadim Al Ghaith Al Qubaisi, “Al Waseema” for Ali Rashid bin Muslim Al Amri, “Al Wariya” for Obaid Ali Obaid Bil Rashid Al Ketbi, “Shaheen” for Khalid Sultan bin Salem Mohammed Al Neyadi, and “Al Dhaby” for Matar Hamad bin Anouda Al Ameri.
