
India Continues Its Gold Streak at the 2025 Para Shooting World Cup in Al Ain
The 2025 Para Shooting World Cup continues in Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, in cooperation with the International Paralympic Committee and the World Shooting Para Sport Federation.
The championship features 213 male and female shooters representing 38 countries from various continents, competing across 43 individual and team events, including air and firearm pistol and rifle (Sciton) disciplines at different distances and positions, in addition to shotgun and visually impaired shooting events.
India maintained its dominance at the top of the standings, raising its tally to 18 medals — 9 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze — after winning another gold medal. The United Arab Emirates retained second place with 7 medals (5 gold and 2 silver), while China came in third with 12 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze).
In Sunday’s competitions, the Chinese Team 1 claimed the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 Mixed Team event after defeating India Team 1 16–10 in the final. The Kazakhstani Team secured the bronze medal by overcoming India Team 2 with a score of 16–8.
In the 10m Air Pistol SH1 Mixed Team event, India Team 2 took the gold medal after defeating Iran Team 2 17–9 in the final. Kazakhstan took third place and the bronze medal after winning
