
Silver and Bronze for the UAE National Team in the 50m Rifle Prone SH1 and SH2 Events
The 2025 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Al Ain will conclude tomorrow (Tuesday). The championship is held under the generous patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and organized by the Zayed Authority for People of Determination at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club, in cooperation with the International Paralympic Committee and the World Shooting Para Sport Federation.
The UAE National Paralympic Shooting Team added two new medals — a silver and a bronze — to its tally in the ongoing competitions.
The team comprising Saeed Al Baloushi, Saif Al Dhaheri, and Abdullah Al Ahbabi secured second place and the silver medal in the 50m Rifle Prone SH2 Mixed Team Event, scoring 1861.1 points.
Abdullah Sultan Al Aryani, Saif Al Nuaimi, and Obaid Al Dahmani won third place and bronze medal in 50m Rifle Prone SH1 Mixed Team Event, with a total of 1824.6 points.
In the 50m Rifle Prone SH1 Mixed Team competition ,Thailand claimed first place and gold medal , followed by United States in 2nd place. The individual finals for this event will take place on Tuesday.
In the 50m Rifle Prone SH2 Mixed Team Event, Thailand also won gold, while China finished third with bronze medal. The individual finals for this category will also be held on Tuesday.
