The heritage race competitions were held yesterday morning, Friday, over 12 races, covering a distance of 2 km, with wide participation from young men and women, both citizens and residents.

Ali Obaid bin Ali Hilal Al Khatri, with the camel “Lafan,” won the first race, recording a time of 2:59:90 minutes, while Omair Abdullah bin Mohammed Ali Al Rashidi, with the camel “Mufajjar,” won the second race. With a time of 3:08:30, British rider Rachel Stratton, riding Shaheen, took first place in the third heat, recording a time of 3:18:60 minutes. Reem Idris Al Balushi, riding Al Muhtaram, won the fourth heat with a time of 3:00:05 minutes. Mansour Ibrahim Hilal Ibrahim, riding Ajeeb, won the fifth heat with a time of 3:04:72 minutes. Pakistani rider Ahsan Yasin, riding Shaheen, won the sixth heat with a time of 3:47:44 minutes. And Al Sagheer Saeed Al Sagheer bin Khadara Al Muharrami, riding Mashrab, took first place in the seventh heat with a time of 3:02:51 minutes. Salem Ali bin Salem Al Shaibani Al Ketbi, riding the camel Al Dheeb, won first place in the eighth heat with a time of 3:00:43 minutes. Saeed Matar Abdullah Balrafia Al Falasi, riding the camel Al Wadheeh, won the ninth heat with a time of 3:01:91 minutes. Ali Suhail bin Ali Al Falasi, riding the camel Al Saai, won the tenth heat with a time of 3:04:50 minutes. Hazam bin Abdullah Al Deela, riding the camel Makram, won the eleventh heat with a time of 2:59:76 minutes (the best time). Finally, Nourhan Hassan Saem Al Dahr, riding the camel Dagher, won the last heat with a time of 3:11:89 minutes. In the evening races for the Al-Haqayiq category, “Hamalil” won the first main race, gifting its owner, Musfir Mohammed Zoman Al-Hajri, the cup and first place in the Al-Haqayiq competitions, which were held over 15 days at the Al-Dhaid racecourse with wide participation from camel owners from all GCC countries. In the second main race, for young male camels, “Badran” owned by Mubarak Hamad Ali Al-Jadili triumphed over his competitors, winning the rifle and first place with a time of 5:53:75. The remaining results were as follows: the third race, “Suyouf” owned by Hamad Muslim Mut’eb Al-Amiri with a time of 6:01:02; the fourth race, “Waqad” owned by Mohammed Sultan Markhan Al-Ketbi with a time of 6:00:26; the fifth race, “Saba” owned by Mohammed Sultan bin Markhan Al-Ketbi with a time of 6:04:58; the sixth race, “Al-Danjalawiya” owned by Rashid Salem Abdullah Al-Touqi with a time of 6:02:04; and the seventh race, “Anad” owned by Rashid Saeed Ali Al-Zar’i with a time of 6:03:72, Race 8 “Shaqra” for Saeed Salem Hamad Al-Jadili with a time of 6:06:49, Race 9 “Al-Dheeba” for Saeed Shatit Faris Al-Shamsi with a time of 6:09:81, Race 10 “Al-Nader” for Mohammed Sultan bin Markhan Al-Ketbi with a time of 6:05:54, Race 11 “Fal” for Ali Salim Hamid Al-Wahibi with a time of 6:03:58, Race 12 “Bahia” for Ahmed Sultan Balrashid Al-Ketbi with a time of 6:09:41, Race 13 “Al-Riyadh” for Ali Ahmed Halis Al-Ketbi with a time of 6:07:91, Race 14 “Rital” for Zaher Fayel Khuraibish Al-Awaisi with a time of 6:10:55, Race 15 “Mublish” for Abdullah Hamad Balqarin Al-Amiri with a time of
