The Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Camel Racing Festival 2025-2026 continued the evening of Saturday December 27 at Al Dhaid Racecourse with the Al Laqaya category races for tribes members, for a distance of 5 kilometers. The races witnessed strong competition and significant participation from camel owners across the (GCC) countries.

In the first race, “Ma’rab,” owned by Mohammed Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, secured victory, winning the Al Laqaya Open Cup for female camels with a time of 7:32:30.

In the second race, the open rifle race for male camels, “Muwaffaq,” owned by Mohammed Sultan Markhan Al Ketbi, claimed the rifle and first place, crossing the finish line in 7:33:78.

In the third heat, “Dam’ah,” owned by Mohammed Abdullah Balhab Al Ameri, emerged victorious with a time of 7:44:99. “Al Shababiyah” secured the win in the fourth heat with a time of 7:41:79 for its owner, Mubarak Saleh Khuraidah Al Mansouri.

In the fifth heat, “Hizam,” owned by Ahmed Hamad Mubarak Ra’ash Al Shamsi, claimed victory with a time of 7:36:88. “Al Shamikh,” owned by Ma’adhd Mubarak Ma’youf Al Wahibi, won the sixth heat with a time of 7:41:32.

The seventh heat saw “Tawaqah,” owned by His Excellency Hamid Saeed Amer Al Neyadi, claim victory with a time of 7:45:46. Finally, “Al Noud” added another win in the eighth heat with a time of 7:41:54 for Mohammed Sultan Markhan Al Ketbi.

In the ninth heat, “Al Nader” secured a well-deserved victory with a time of 7:39:95 for its owner, Majid Salmeen Kardous Al Ameri. The tenth heat went to “Sayyaf,” owned by Bader Sultan Mohammed Al Ghailani, with a time of 7:44:97.

The winning streak continued in the eleventh heat with “Khayal,” owned by Mohammed Sultan Markhan Al Ketbi, clocking in at 7:41:02. “Al Azoum” then clinched the twelfth heat with a time of 7:47:41 for its owner, Suleiman Khalifa Salem Al Hakamani.

In the final heat, “Al Shamkha” won the thirteenth heat with a time of 7:46:38 for its owner, Mohammed Ateeq Zaitoun Al Muhairi. Finally, “Geneva” concluded the competition by winning the fourteenth heat with a time of 7:49:64, securing the victory for its owner, Rashid Khadem Al Muhairi.
