Sunday evening witnessed strong and exciting competitions in the Al-Idha’a category at the 15th edition of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Camel Racing and Beauty Festival in Al-Dhaid 2025-2026. The high level of the participants was evident, and the competitions yielded outstanding results, confirming the improved performance and strong presence in the camel racing arena.

Al-Ghuwaifat, owned by Maneh Ali bin Hammad Al-Shamsi, won the Open Cup for young female camels after a remarkable performance, completing the distance in 9 minutes and 9.40 seconds to claim first place in the first main race. In the open camel race, “Ashqar,” owned by Hazza Saeed Al Salmeen Al Mansouri, took first place with a time of 9:12:21 minutes, amidst fierce competition right to the finish line.

The remaining results were as follows: “Khayal,” owned by Ahmed Tarshoum Saleh Al Ameri, secured first place in the third heat with a time of 9:23:08, while “Sougha,” owned by Mohammed Ali Hammad Al Shamsi, finished first in the fourth heat with a time of 9:20:11.

“Dirgham,” owned by Hamdan Mohammed Mubarak Al Afari, won the fifth heat with a time of 9:21:66, and “Mukhtara,” owned by Ahmed Obaid Ghanem Al Mazrouei, finished sixth with a time of 9:22:19. In the seventh heat, “Al Qafay,” owned by Abdullah Mohammed Atiq Shams Al Ameri, soared to victory with a time of 9:24:04. “Marmooq,” owned by Salem Fares Hamad Al Shamsi, won the eighth heat with a time of 9:24:09. In the ninth heat, “Wasayef,” owned by Hamad Tarshoum Saleh Al Ameri, secured first place with a time of 9:27:65. Finally, “Balsha,” owned by Mubarak Matar Huwaireb Al Mansouri, claimed first place in the tenth heat with a time of 9:21:45.
